Norka Woodworks

Norka products are the result of a century-old practice known as sustained yield forest management. In short, this means growing twice the number of hardwood trees as harvested yearly. Through this type of constant replenishment and responsible stewardship, the hardwood forest of the Appalachian Mountains will continue to provide not only clean air and a cool earth, but also beautiful products like the hardwood furniture they manufacture. Viking Log Furniture

The Northern Exposure futon frame is a true northern lodge design, that adds a rustic look to a functional piece of furniture. Made of pine, the arms are a heavy 6" diameter mortised and tenoned together to give a true log look. Each piece has its own unique character as no two trees grow the same, the different knots and cracks are unique to each piece. Available in clear lacquer and unfinished only. Matching tables, entertainment centers, and pine screen panels are also available.
